Arrived in Elm Creek, Nebraska (pop. 948) yesterday evening and was greeted by the cows coming home.
I'm not sure what these large birds that sound like geese or turkeys are? I know there are some amateur ornithologists or Midwesterners reading this that know what these are.
I'm heading off to Glen Elder State Park. I'll be stopping for provisions along the way so that will be an adventure I'm sure. I hope you are all having a great weekend!
P.S. Yes, I am actually in Nebraska despite the proud Texan flying his flag. Maybe it's Ted Cruz checking out the Nebraska-Kansas border?!
