Beaver Crossing, Nebraska

Started my trek to South Dakota today. In order to spend a few extra days in Kansas, I had a bit of a long travel travel day today, almost 7-hours. However, I did stop at a rest area for a power bar lunch and short nap. Fighting the wind along the way made the trip a bit longer since I "land-sailed" well below the speed limit. Earlier this week my brother, Rick, tweaked my steering with the "cheap handling fix" as it's called by the Winnebago community. I did notice a difference - the steering was more responsive.

I'm staying here at the Smith Creek Recreation Area outside Beaver Crossing, Nebraska. It's a beautiful setting in rural Nebraska. It's four miles from the highway so its very peaceful and a cool 71-degrees.

I pulled under a nice shade tree for the night.
